Asian - of or relating to or characteristic of Asia or the peoples of Asia or their languages or culture. Asians are usually smart and have the following aspects although not limited to:
1. straight A's
2. strict parents
3. good at Maths and Science
4. superb exam scores
5. some can dance
6. good at video games
7. generally dominates at anything they set out to do.synonyms: oriental, stingy, smart, awesome but not as awesome as Eurasians. :)
So I went to Hong Kong recently. I had the intention of putting here a big sort of daily journal entry thing for my trip, inclusive of photos, (eek Identity theft!) but instead of boring you to death with every little detail I thought was amusing at the time, here’s a shorter...blurb thing.
Hong Kong. A place full of history, asian people, and lots of tourists from all over the world. Some hot. Some not. A place where you’d see thousands of different people, each day, that you wouldn’t see in a month back home. A place where there is such a variety of food and shopping places you wouldn’t want to leave.
But then there’s the weather. Because in summer this place is 35 degrees, with at least 97% humidity. Which means you will be sweating the moment you leave the airport to the moment you walk back in through those doors. And then there are the people who don’t know what deodorant is. And somewhere along with them there are those seedy men you will find around every corner, in every shop, restaurant, swimming pool, hotel lobby, train station, tram and bus. No kidding. Dress like nuns, ladies, tis the only way you can avoid them...
I guess every place has its upsides and downsides, you gotta hope it’s more of the former.
