In HK, during one of my bored moments spent watching the TV, I came across this show called the Vampire Diaries. And I have no idea when - but I think it was - on TV screens back home because I don't usually watch any TV...
But I love this show. So I'm downloading the whole first season - 22 episodes. (Do not tell my parents that is why the internet is behaving so badly.) It's got funny moments, romantic moments (duh vampires) and suspenseful frightening moments. I mean, I hate Twilight with a passion because although it's not a shit idea (though overused/slightly unoriginal) it's just written and performed by the wrong people. And the Vampire Diaries was a book series back when Stephanie Meyers was in nappies. No, I take that back, she's not that young.
And apart from all those *moments*, here's the other reason why all sane girls - and some guys, of course - should watch this show:
Stefan Salvatore. Vampire. Good Vampire. In love with Elena, protagonist.
Mmhmm. Six pack.
Stefan and his evil brother Damon.
Damon Salvatore. Vampire. Bad vampire.
Couldn't find many photos of this guy (the one below is from some random other show)
Matt Donovan, school jock. In love with main girl Elena.
Jeremy Gilbert, brother of the main girl, cute or what?
Ben. Evil vampire. Haven't seen enough of him to know what happens to him.
And there's quite a few others as well, but I couldn't find any decent pictures of them...
Conclusion? Watch this series. NOW.
