Jack & Jill

She wore that dress like it was a Saturday
Pretty as a summer rose picked in the morning
And he held her hand like it was a mystery
One he couldn't quite believe
Just walking with him
They were high up on a hill
Something to say, and daylight to kill
Time slipped away, the way that it will

Around and around
Dancing 'round the question
Flip a coin and watch it go down
Into the wishing well
Two steps unset there goes another day,
Another chance to give away the secrets
To keep to themselves.

They were high up on a hill
Something to say, daylight to kill.
Time slipped away, the way that it will.

Darkness falls without a sound
They come tumbling down,
Tumbling after, tumbling after

She wore that dress like it was a Saturday
Pretty as a summer rose picked in the morning
And he held her hand like it was a mystery
One he couldn't quite believe
Just walking with him
They were high up on a hill
Something to say, and daylight to kill
Time ticked away, the way that it will.

Such Is Life

There are moments in life that make you and set the course of who you’re going to become.
Sometimes they’re little, subtle moments. Sometimes, they’re big moments that you never even saw coming.
No one asks for their life to change, but it does.
It’s what you do afterwards that counts. That’s when you find out who you really are.

So it wasn't the smartest thing to forget to pack my school shoes.

I mean, if I'd forgotten to pack my boots, it wouldn't really have mattered. But school shoes, I'm meant to wear 5 days of the week? It turned out okay though, I got to feel tres rebellious and wear some other black shoes I happened to have packed. Funny thing is, none of the teachers seemed to notice or said anything the entire week. Well anyway, my sister brought them on her day off from uni on Thursday, so it's all good. Even though in some ways I'd rather wear my other shoes for the rest of the term. Would have been sweet.

I have some other things to talk about but I'll put that in a separate post. Might as well keep things relevant, right?

But on the school note, I've decided to attempt to go for Art Captain. VOTE FOR ME.

I mean I don't really care if I don't get it, but there's no harm in trying...even if I have only been at the school for a year and a half. >.>

So until next post, which will be some time later tonight...

Walk slowly and drink lots of water. :)

What a stupid saying! Just saying. Oh, I'm hilarious.

Strawberry Fields Forever

Sometimes the hardest things in life are letting go - of the people you know, places you know.
But at some point, you have to do it, get out of your comfort zone, otherwise there's no way of moving on.
So take the risk. Who knows what could be waiting for you?

At least that's what I'm telling myself. Moving into the school boarding house in a few hours, and not sure whether to be excited or afraid. So let's all be optimistic about it, yeah?

From The Ritz To The Rubble

So there are some people I just don't talk to anymore. It's not their fault, I guess I'm just... lazy. Or they're just dull, boring and repetitive. Joking.
And there are the few I just choose to avoid, but they're in the minority. So to all the others, sorry. But the whole 'putting effort into the friendship' thing is mutual. So if you don't put any effort in either, maybe...we just shouldn't be friends.
